Suzanne Pleshette, an American actress and voice artist. Through her almost five decades of career she had earned over a hundred credits on her resume. Pleshette was born in New York and began her stage career as an actor. Later, she made the gradual shift to the screen. Some of her most prominent films are "Rome Adventure," "The Birds', 'Fate Is the Hunter', If it's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium,' and "Support Your Local Firefighter'. The roles she played on TV and in films were varied as well. Her nominations included Emmy Awards four times and Golden Globe Awards twice. Two times she was nominated, Pleshette won the Laurel Award in 1963 for her film 'The Birds'. Pleshette was killed in 2008, was awarded a Star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
